Story
Established in 1975
Frank’s produce and greenhouses is A family business started in the 1970s, by Frank Rhodes Sr., arlene rhodes and Frank Rhodes Jr.
with humble beginnings as a roadside produce stand. Frank’s has since become a staple in the community that has stayed well connected to their roots.
along with running the open air market and eight greenhouses on the property, the family also farms two properities in western howard county. as well as raise cattle for our local protein!
today the family business is run by frank’s son; chris rhodes, daughter; taylor rhodes and nephew; jake franz.
Our Mission
the family continues to provide the community locally source produce, meats, honey, jams & other unique goods in an open air market. as well as operating their eight greenhouses filled with vibrant locally grown plants.
